A total of three, 4-credit Hospitality Management Electives (or two
electives and one internship, teaching assistantship, or independent
study) is required. Free electives must be taken outside the
Whittemore School.
Semester abroad/away is recommended Junior year.
Fall away: take HMGT 603 in Fall of Sophomore year and HMGT 625 in
Fall of Senior year.
Spring away: take HMGT 600 in spring of Sophomore year and HMGT
635 in spring of Senior year.
An 800-hour paid practicum is required to complete the degree
requirements.
