This is the key to
survival. The earlier a skin cancer is detected and dealt with the
better: even those that would never prove to be life threatening. But
when a melamona
develops and forms a deep mass on your skin the chances of serious
complications increase significantly. After a visual inspection a biopsy
will tell you want kind of skin cancer you are dealing with. If it
proves to be a melanoma, a quick and complete removal of the melanoma
with the surrounding tissue is essential. The depth of the melanoma is
important. Those that are less than 1.5 mm are far less serious that
deeper ones.
Those that are classified as a Stage 1
melanoma….one that is thin and shows no signs of spreading are not
nearly as bad as a deep melanoma classified as a Stage 3 that has spread
to distant organs.
